Oriflame to launch 350 products in India

Oriflame India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Swedish natural cosmetics direct-marketing major Oriflame, plans to introduce 350 new products in India this year, a company official has said.

Oriflame now offers 650 products in the country in four categories — colour cosmetics, skin-care, personal and healthcare and fragrances and accessories.

Oriflame India, part of the €1.3-billion cosmetics company, currently has a production facility at Noida near New Delhi, and also imports products manufactured at its plants in Italy, China and Russia.

Together, these facilities manufacture 25 million units of various cosmetic products annually.

The company, with 3.1 million independent consultants as its global workforce, claims to have around 10 per cent market share in Asia.

India is among the top-10 markets for of Oriflame.
